CAN I EVEN DO A DIET?

What nutritional lifestyle would you be happy to maintain? 

For example, if you are considering going low carb…. the question is… could you actually do it?

 

Can you really live without bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, bananas, apples, oranges?

 

Don’t answer the question too quickly, because there are low-carb replacements. Low carb people have been dealing with this question for years and so they’ve developed recipes for low carb bread, low carb pasta, low carb desserts.

 

So before you conclude on what kind of nutritional lifestyle you’ll be happy to live with, take a look at some of the options…

Plant-based

Low carb

Paleo

 

Then ask yourself the question… are you even willing to do any of these? If you don’t do a diet, you can still eat healthily. You can still avoid junk food and eat lots of vegetables and eat everything in moderation.

 

If you try a diet without really asking yourself this question, you run the risk of setting yourself an unnecessarily strict goal that you’re not really intending to follow through on, and getting discouraged with healthy eating altogether.

 

So ask the question… what kind of nutritional lifestyle are you actually willing to do long-term?
